Roy Anthony Moore aka “Tony”, 59 yrs of age , passed on Monday, June 7, 2021 at Baylor Scott & White Hospital of Waxahachie, TX.

Tony was born January 15, 1962 in Los Angeles, California to Roy J Moore and Glisper Jean Moore. He was the oldest of ten children. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy J Moore, mother, Glisper Jean Moore, and sisters: Janice Moore and Yolande Johnson.

Tony and his family moved a lot and he attended several schools in California and Kansas. Tony was a member of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship for many years. He loved the Lord and often talked about Him to anyone that would listen. He had a servant’s heart. Prior to Tony becoming ill, he was active in church, participated in the Comfort and Care Ministry and was a Small Group Facilitator with his wife, Catina.

Tony met Catina Hardin in the summer of 1992 and they joined holy matrimony June 20, 1998 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, one son was added to this union.

Tony worked as a chef until he retired in 2010 due to illness. He loved to cook for his family and friends. Cooking was his passion. He loved to express his love on every plate. Tony was a die hard, Las Vegas, Raiders and LA Lakers fan. He loved football and spent much time watching games with friends and family. He loved to play dominoes. Tony never met a stranger. He loved to spend time in fellowship and get to know people. He always made people know how much they were valued and loved. He was a devoted husband, father, uncle, brother, grandfather, and friend.

Tony leaves behind his wife, Catina of Waxahachie, Texas; a daughter, Keila Moore of Fairfield, California ; two sons, Marc Moore of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Treston Moore of Fort Worth, Texas; four brothers, Roderick Moore and Christopher Moore of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Derrick Johnson (Maryanne) of San Diego, California; Terrance Johnson (Jasmine) of Norfolk,Virginia. Four sisters, Toyia Moore of San Diego, California; Shawntell Johnson of Las Vegas, Nevada; and Twila Johnson (Paco) of San Diego, California; Grandchildren, LaRon and Conley Moore of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Jagger Powell of Fairfield, California; and a host of nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, cousins, and friends.
