Rickey Hayle

Rickey Glenn Hayle, went to be with the Lord on August 30, 2021. He was born December 24, 1954 in Dallas, Tx. to parents Alfred S Hayle and Bessie “Marie” Nowlin. He was married to Barbara J Hayle for 25 years. He and Barbara enjoyed traveling in the RV and going to Clan Hay festivals in Estes Park. He proudly served as a Convener for Clan Hay. He was the Convener at the local festivals in Dallas and the Irish Festival at Fair Park. He loved fishing, hiking, camping, and especially the peaceful Colorado mountains. His favorite lake to visit was Williams Creek Reservoir in Colorado. He also had a deep love for his three boys, Benjamin, Christopher and Keith Hayle. He really enjoyed taking his boys to baseball games when they were younger. One of the highlights of his life was attending Nolan Ryan’s 7th no-hitter with his sons. He loved the Dallas Stars and going to the hockey games with his sons when possible.

He is preceded in death by his father Alfred, mother Marie, step-mother Audrey, brother J.D. and his two best friends Larry “Quail” King and Jerry “Rab” Peterson. He is survived by his wife Barbara; son’s Benjamin and his wife Haley, Christopher and his wife Emily, and his youngest son Keith and Sarah Johnson; brothers Michael Hayle and Doug Nix; sisters Miriam “Mimi” Schuler and Brenda Bonfanti; three step-children Brandy Ethridge, Byron Crews and Jennifer Hall; and eleven grandchildren Brady, Cody, Kadynce, Tanner, Collins, Zackary, Isabella, Lexi, Fisher, Brooklyn, and Maddie.

Rickey was well loved and will be missed by all.
