Lydia Becerra Gonzales

Age 83, of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away February 9, 2021 peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.

Lydia was born February 20, 1937 in Dallas, Texas

She was preceded in death by her parents, Matias and Francisca Becerra; son, Derek Wayne Gonzales; sisters Martina Spradling and Aurora Torres.

Lydia was survived by husband of 47 years Enrique Y Astran (who passed on March 9, 2021).

She is survived by son Steve Gonzales, wife Beth, granddaughters Lauren Cummings (Micah), Rebecca Fechner (Chris), great grandchildren Cade Fechner and Olivia Cummings.  She is also survived by 5 brothers, 2 sisters, several brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews, stepchildren, step grandchildren and their children.  Along with many friends who were like family to her.

She was a homemaker who also worked many jobs with Multi-Amp being the longest, at over 18 years.

Lydia was an energizer bunny, always on the go visiting family, eating out, shopping, and living life to the fullest each day. She and Rick loved to travel and would stop along the way at any roadside attraction, where they never met a stranger.
