Jerry Wakefield

Jerry Dee Wakefield, age 74, of Waxahachie, Tx. Passed away Sunday May 23, 2021 in Dallas.

Jerry was born in Wichita Falls, Tx. to Luther Nelson and Edith Jewel (Singleton) Wakefield on

September 30, 1946. He graduated from Iowa Park High School and received an Associates degree

from Cooke County Jr. College

Jerry married his wife Barbara on April 26,1968 in Iowa Park, Tx. He worked as a traffic manager for

Bridgestone/Firestone. He had a passion for woodworking.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and a son Kipp.

Jerry is survived by his wife Barbara, son Brian, daughter in law Holly and grandchildren Chase, Colby,

and Lindsey
