Tribute

Guadalupe Treviño, beloved husband, father, son, and brother passed away January 7th, 2021.  He was born in Waxahachie, Texas on November 12th, 1961 to Maria and Antonio Treviño.

He married Roselinda Garcia on October 24th, 1993.  They were married 27 blessed years and had two children, Elissa Marie (Lisa) and Joseph Elijah (Joey).

He worked with his father in the family business, Chiquito Truck Sales, until his father’s death in 1993. He then ventured out and formed GART Truck Sales.  Several years later he started Trevino Enterprises where he pursued his hobby of landscaping and passion for truck sales until his death.

Lupe had many friends and business associates.  He developed a genuine friendship with everyone he encountered and had the gift of making everyone feel like family.  Lupe had a particularly special relationship with his father-in-law, Eli Garcia, and considered him his second dad.   He always had a unique name for everyone in his life.   He loved talking to people and always kept in touch with his family and friends.  He loved to watch Lisa and Joey as they played volleyball and baseball.  He always encouraged and motivated them to always seek God first in their lives and to never give up on their dreams.

He is preceded in death by his father, Antonio Treviño and brother Antonio Treviño, Jr.   He is survived by his wife, Roselinda, his daughter Elissa Marie Treviño and her fiancé Logan Dorsett, his son Joseph Elijah Treviño, his mother Maria Treviño, sisters Esther Lawson and Connie Treviño, brothers Armando Treviño, Fernando Treviño, Ronaldo Treviño, Bobby Treviño, Abel Treviño, and their spouses and families.
