George Fuller

George Richard Fuller was born February 16, 1952, in Longview, Texas. He graduated from Longview High school before going to Kilgore Jr. College and then Stephen F. Austin for his bachelor's degree. While there, he was a proud member of Pi Kappa Alpha. He also had a memorable experience at Southwestern University in Georgetown.

George began working at 14 at Brookshire’s Grocery Store before becoming a business owner in his adult years in Granbury. He began Fuller Log Homes in Granbury after working with lifelong friend Sam Satterwhite Log Homes. He retired after 30 years and moved to Waxahachie in 2016 to be closer to his children and grandchildren. When not working he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He took great joy in taking his grandchildren fishing in their younger years.

George was a proud member of the Freemasons, the Granbury Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Knights Templar. He spent many years serving the Granbury community as a member of the Lions Club, Kiwanis, and the First United Methodist Church.

George went on to his eternal life with his savior Jesus on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. He is survived by his children Cynthia Baugh and husband Jerry, Clinton Fuller and wife Heather. Grandchildren Zach, Brenna, and Mackenzie Baugh. His girlfriend Sandra Reese, brother Mark Fuller, and nephew Lane Fuller. Aunt Patsy Cefalu, Aunt Frances Fuller, Uncle Gene Whitehurst, and several cousins.
