DK was a devoted husband to his wife Pat of 42 years they spend many years working cows, bailing hay and raising cutting horses.  They truly enjoyed working the ranch life together and he was a true red, white and blue cowboy.  He loved John Wayne and everything American and the one thing you did not want to mention was politics or you would be there for hours listening to his opinions.  He loved all the holidays and spending time with his family, when he became a grandfather, he loved watching cartoons and hanging with the grand babies, but when he became a great grandfather it was even more fun
