Carolyn Farmer

August 16, 1946 — April 21, 2020

Fort Worth

Carolyn “Sue” Conger Farmer, age 73, of Fort Worth passed away on April 21, 2020 after a long illness.  Sue was born August 16, 1946 in Hillsboro, Texas, and was a long time resident of Waxahachie, Texas.

Sue was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother.  She is remembered very fondly by many family and friends for her wit and humor which made life fun for all.   Her strong personality for living and expressing life with boldness and passion left everyone around her understanding where they stood.  Sue will be remembered for her generosity of thinking and giving to others before herself. Her fried chicken and cherry pie and other special dishes were particularly memorable. Outdoors she loved bird watching and working in her yard or garden.  She loved to decorate her home and help others do the same having developed her own style through study and experience.  Less well known was her love of music and especially singing.  Her personality lit up the room with a smile that could melt your heart – especially that of her husband and sons.  She will be deeply missed and the memories she created with her family and friends will be forever cherished.

Sue is survived by her husband Ronald “Ronnie” Karl Farmer of 43 years and four sons: Edward William Lowe, Albert Bryan Lowe and wife Jennifer, Brett Douglas Lowe, and Byron McKenzie Lowe and wife Heidi as well as siblings Buddy Conger, Ronnie Conger, Joyce Conger Walker, LaNora Conger Keeton, and Gayle Conger Gilcrease.  Surviving family also includes five grandchildren, Jon Lowe, Tyler Lowe, Kailea Lowe, Ashley Lowe, and Jace Lowe and two great grandsons Nash Lowe and Jeter Jones and many nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held at 10 am Saturday April 25, 20020 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, 1826 W Hwy 287 Business, Waxahachie, TX  75165.
