Bobby Martin

Bobby Jack Martin, 73, passed away Sunday April 18, 2021 in Ennis.  Bobby was born October 5, 1947 in Waxahachie, Texas to Jack Walker and Mildred Branam Martin.  He graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1965.  He married Brenda Stacy in 1973 and eventually made their home in Ennis.  He worked for Dallas Freightliner for 30 years, retiring in December 2017.  He was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge, where he was a Master Mason, as well as a member of the Hella Shriners, and Scottish Rite.   He enjoyed many years of camping with some of his best friends as a Rollin’ Nobles.  Most of all, he loved his family, especially his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Brenda Martin, of Ennis, Daughter Staci Parr and husband, Steven, of Waxahachie, Sister, Donna Martin Hill and husband David of North Branch, MN,  Brother in Laws Everett Stacy and wife Linda of Tuttle, OK, and Dennis Stacy of Terlton, OK, and Sister in Law Vickie Barnes and husband Edwin of Phoenix, AZ.   Grandchildren, Kristopher, Laekyn, and Jack Parr, and Riley Martin.  He is survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

He’s preceded in death by his parents, sons Brandon Wade and Cameron Ryan Martin.

The family would like to thank the staff of Ennis Care Center, and one of Bobby’s special nurses, Lacy Travis , with whom he had a special friendship.  A special thanks to Bristol Hospice – Pathways of Waxahachie.
