April 15, 1936 – March 7, 2020

Bobby Elmore, 83 of Waxahachie, Texas passed away Saturday, March 7, 2020 at his residence in Waxahachie.  Bobby was born April 15, 1936 in Mertens to Bill and Essie (Yarbrough) Elmore.  He was a triplet and they were put on display at the State Fair as youngsters.  The triplets were also furnished milk for the first year of their lives by the Pet Milk Company. Bobby worked for the Texas State Highway Department and the City of Waxahachie for 35+ years. He was a faithful member and deacon at The Avenue Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Waxahachie, Texas.

He loved being with family and friends, camping, fishing and playing 42 with his domino partner Glynn Moses.  Preceding him in death was his wife of over 50 years Dorothy Faye Elmore; parents Bill and Essie Elmore; three sisters Frances Bell, his triplet sister Betty Cox and Louann Kyte; his triplet brother Billy Elmore; and his granddaughter Jennifer Rena Tucker.

Survivors include his wife Dorothy Ruth Elmore of Waxahachie; daughter Darla Ann Thompson and her husband Mack Thompson of Plano, Texas; brothers Kenneth Elmore and wife Pat Elmore of Kennedale, Texas, Harold Elmore of Carrollton, Texas; sisters Sis Walles and her husband Jesse Walles of Warren, Texas and Doris Clanahan of Olney, Texas; two grandchildren Brittany Thompson Gnagi and her husband Hayden Gnagi of Frisco, Texas and Alexander Thompson of Plano, Texas; Other close family members include; David Burrow and his wife Ami Burrow of Red Oak, Texas, Brian Hatfield and his wife Barbara Hatfield of Hurst, Texas, Russell Bolin and his wife Carol Bolin of Waxahachie, Texas and numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
