Billy Strength

Billy Scott Strength “Scott”, 57, passed away on April 25, 2020 in Dallas, Texas. Scott was born in Waxahachie, Texas on November 3, 1962. He graduated from Waxahachie High School.

Scott was married to Sheila Rene Strength on January 4, 1986; they were married for 35 years.

Scott worked as a truck driver for Timco Logistics Systems Incorporated for the past 8 years. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, kids, and granddaughter, watching baseball, and shooting guns with his son-in-law. Scott is a veteran of the United States Navy where he served honorably. Scott was a loving father, brother, and grandfather and his family was highly important to him. He was a dear friend to many and cared deeply for all of them.

Scott is survived by his spouse Sheila Strength of Copperas Cove, Texas; daughter, Mallory Rasmussen and her husband Forrest of Kempner, Texas; 1 granddaughter, Zeppelyn Bell of Kempner, Texas; daughter Courtlyn Strength of Copperas Cove, Texas; brother Brent Strength and his wife Michelle of Italy, Texas; 2 nieces Ashlynn Strength of Dallas, Texas and Hannah Strength of Abilene, Texas; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Scott is preceded in death by his father, Billy Buford Strength and mother Melba Ruth Strength, his maternal grandparents Ernest Herrin and Jewell Betsy Herrin and his paternal grandparents Buford and Velma Strength.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
