Beth Atteberry

April 12, 1993 — June 13, 2020

Cedar Hill

A beloved mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Beth Ashleigh Atteberry, left this world unexpectedly, at age 27, on Saturday, June 13 in a fatal car accident. Beth was born in Dallas, Texas on April 12, 1993 to Jackie (JR) and Barbara (Stewart) Atteberry. She grew up in Cedar Hill, Texas and attended Waterford Oaks Elementary and Life Schools before graduating from Crossroads Academy.

Beth loved her daughter Emma with her whole heart. She was very artistic and loved painting as well as refurbishing discarded furniture she found on the side of the road. She also enjoyed going to concerts and listening to music. She was funny, sarcastic, outgoing and vivacious, but she was also introverted and introspective. She was fiercely loyal to her friends and family. We will always remember her infectious smile, piercing blue eyes and caring personality. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed.

When you think of Beth, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest. Beth loved so many and was loved by so many more.  She had an energy that even after just one encounter with her, you would remember her for life. If you knew her well or barely at all, she always left you thinking. Whether it was about how absolutely beautiful, ridiculously funny, or just downright inappropriate she was, she left her mark!

Beth was preceded in death by her grandparents Jack Atteberry, Sr. and Dean and Naomi Stewart, Aunt Rhonda Stephan and Uncle JC Pelt. She leaves behind her daughter Emma; parents Barbara Atteberry and JR & Jennifer Atteberry; brother Adam and wife Brittney; step-brother Logan Sell; grandparents Carroll and Judy Teeter; nieces Ella and Maci-Leigh and nephew Wyatt; Uncle David & Aunt Suana, Aunt Mary & Uncle Mike, Uncle Paul, Uncle Dennie, Aunt Kay, Aunt Letha, Aunt Corrine and a plethora of cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 20 at 10am at Oaks Church – Youth Auditorium, located at 777 S. I-35 East, Red Oak, TX. Interment will be at Little Bethel Cemetery in Cedar Hill, TX.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that a donation be made to her daughter Emma’s College Fund, the link is provided below.
