Barbara Priddy

Barbara Priddy, 61, of Midlothian, Texas, passed away on March 01, 2021 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born February 26, 1960 in Dallas, Texas to Thomas (Tom) and Virginia Johnson.

In the early 1970’s, she moved to the Maypearl/Waxahachie area with her father and stepmother, Jane Johnson. After graduating from Maypearl High School in 1979, she returned to Dallas where she met and married her husband Jim in 1985. Barbara and Jim had four children together before Jim’s untimely death in 1993. After Jim’s death, she moved back to the Waxahachie area where she raised her children. Barbara never remarried.

Barbara worked for Walgreens Distribution Center in Waxahachie for the past 19 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Priddy, grandson, Ray (CT) Meazell, mother, Lula Virginia Johnson, stepmother Jane Johnson, and brother Tim Johnson.

Survivors include, daughter Ashley Drouin and husband Keith of Midlothian, Texas, sons James Priddy of Midlothian, Texas, Kyle Priddy and wife Britney of Lorena, Texas, and Jeffrey Priddy and wife Brianca of Onsted, Michigan. Grandchildren Josh, Hayden, Kyler, Gunner, Jamie and Mitchell.

Also surviving her are her father, Tom Johnson, her brothers, TJ, Berry, Rick, sister Lisa, and many nieces and nephews.
