Andrew Lopez Jr.

September 17, 2001 — April 17, 2021

Red Oak

Andrew Lopez Jr, age 19, born on September 17, 2001 in Edinburg, Tx to parents Lydia Peralta and Andrew Lopez.

Andrew is the oldest of 4 brothers, Anthony Lopez 16, CJ Treviño 13, and Adrian Isaiah Solis 8.

Lived in Red Oak, Tx and attended Red Oak High School, Senior graduate 2021. Andrew, had amazing plans in life, after graduating high school. His biggest motivation was continuing his academic goals in Auto Tech and adding modifications to his car. He shared the great teachers in his life who motivated him and invested in him, who we are forever thankful for.

He had a passion as a car enthusiast and had fully owned his first new car, 99 Acura Integra, which he was very proud of and worked so hard for. Andrew was customer focused and dedicated to his job at 7-11 as a Sales Associate in Red Oak, Tx while also attending school, investing time on his car and spending time with friends, but always made time for family going to the lake, boat riding, fishing and always enjoyed cooking. When possible, Andrew always made big breakfast meals for the family on Sunday mornings or was ready for a bar-b-q Sunday afternoon.

He spent a lot of time with his brothers and dad, Christopher Treviño, searching and working on cars. He enjoyed driving around and finding muscle cars, classics and gaining ideas for his own project.

Growing up, Andrew was always a happy and positive child. Very outgoing and by far very helpful with those in need. It was easy to carry a conversation with Andrew, he always had something to talk about or could easily give you a piece of advice and words of motivation.

He was a great listener and always patient to everyone else’s needs. He cared for others by making sure they were okay, being attentive and making you smile. Being the oldest he always wanted to make sure mom and brothers were taken care of, so he learned to be a great handy man around the house, prioritizing things and being the great young man that he was.

Being with family was always amazing, with not a worry in the world, family time was always priceless. Andrew always knew how to make others laugh and keep the fun going with his creative and crazy thoughts. On days he just wanted to be in his zone, he would be playing video games with his friends, late hours at night or with his brothers, which the house was never quiet with their loud gaming achievements, but also loved listening to music.

Andrew will always be known and remembered as a kind, big hearted, humble, stubborn, amazing young man who impacted many people in our community and in our life’s in many many ways and will forever have a place in our hearts in each and every one of us.

Andrew will look down on us to protect us and guide us, after all, he was a walking Angel all along.
