Yoshiko (Peggy) Hancock

Yoshiko Hancock peacefully passed away on Friday morning at her home after a long courageous fight with cancer.

She was born in Sapporo, Japan, the daughter of Harakichi and Hatsue Arai and has resided in Waxahachie since 1957.

Her parents, two brothers and a sister preceded her in death; one brother and four sisters survive. She is survived by her husband, Billy, and sons and daughters-in-laws, Charles and Deborah of Austin, John and Christe of McGregor, Ted and Nancy of Ennis, three grandchildren, Hallie, Haven and Heath and great-grandchildren Angel and Destiny.

The remains will be cremated. A memorial service and interment will take place at a later date.
