Troy Edwin Stovall

Troy Edwin Stovall was born August 14, 1933 to J.W. and Rosa Mae Stovall in Howard, Texas. He passed on October 5, 2023 in Waxahachie, Texas. He graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1952 and attended business school in Dallas. He began working at Mobil Oil in 1952 and retired in 1992.

He married Anna Lou Kelsey on December 19, 1952. Three children were born to this marriage, Toby Wayne, Steven Brent, and William Harris Stovall. He was a member of Northside Church of Christ, where he maintained the finances, landscaping, and other duties. He spent time with his sons outdoors, fishing and hunting. During retirement, he enjoyed camping and traveling with his wife and grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by his parents; brother, Travis Stovall. He is survived by his wife, his brother, Lee Stovall; three sons, seven grandchildren: Aimee, Melissa, Kristopher, Kelsey, Courtney, Tyler, and Emily; and four great grandchildren.

Services will be held at Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie on Thursday October 12, 2023, with visitation at 1 pm and service at 2 pm. Burial will follow at Elm Branch in Bardwell Texas.
