Teya Hernandez “Memaw” entered the Gates of Heaven as her husband of 62 years held her hand and her family surrounded her bed as they said goodbye.
Teya was born Eluteria Rodriguez in Weslaco, Texas on April 17, 1939, and passed away at her home in Maypearl, Texas January 06, 2021. Teya grew up in Edinburg, Texas with her parents, Senaido and Raymunda Rodriguez. She was the couple’s only daughter and the oldest of five children.

She adored her family and cherished every moment, the good and the bad. Teya was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. She experienced a full, content, and celebrated existence. We are going to miss her so much.
