Stephen Eugene Krause passed away in peace at his home on June 10, 2021 in Maypearl, Texas. His wife Michelle was by his side comforting him throughout his courageous battle with cancer.
Steve was born on February 20, 1962 in Hardin, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, Oscar Eugene Krause Jr. and his mother Daisy Mae (Martin) Krause.
Steve served 9 years in the United States Air Force. He spent much of his time in England AFB, Louisiana as an electronic warfare technician working with the A-10A tank buster “Warthog”.
Steve earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at Northwestern State University.
He was the founder, CEO, and President of Krause USDA Construction and owner of Krause Design, Inc. where he worked as a Food Production Engineer. Steve designed and built food production facilities all across the United States. Steve’s imagination, innovation, and ingenuity helped feed people all around the world.
Steve was a natural at designing machines and plants to operate in a highly productive manner.  With all of Steve’s professional accomplishments he remained a humble man never bragging of his accomplishments. He was a man of action, of high resolve and character.
He loved God, his wife, children, grandchildren and his country (USA). He loved hunting and teaching others to hunt, fishing and scuba diving.
