Sanford Smith

Sanford Smith, age 81, of Midlothian, Texas, passed away Sunday, August 27. He was born in Arlington, Texas on August 28, 1942. Sanford graduated from Arlington High School in 1959.

He married Janet Baker Smith in January 7, 1966 in Arlington, Texas.

Sanford worked for the City of Waxahachie as the Chief Building Official for 30 years. He was a member of the Waxahachie Bible Church and the City of Waxahachie City Council.

Sanford enjoyed taking trips in his RV with Janet., many miles spent together.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Sanford A. Smith, Mother Juanita Smith, and Sister Jackie Sheffield.

He was survived by his wife, Janet Smith of Midlothian, Texas.

Children Terry Smith of Midlothian, Texas, and Troy Smith of Austin, Texas.

Grandchildren Macie Smith, Payton Gooch, and Waylon Smith.
