Robert Joseph Thibault

Robert was born November 21, 1940, in Duluth, Minnesota, to Archie and Violet Thibault. Robert Joseph Thibault, 83 of Arlington, entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 13, 2024. 

After retiring Robert enjoyed gardening, and just puttering around the house. He loved to travel and enjoyed going to the activities of the grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Archie and Violet.

After graduation from High School in Duluth, Robert joined the Navy. He proudly served for 6 years. His proudest memory was serving on an ice breaker having wintered over in the South Pole. After being discharged, he attend the University of Nebraska, where he earned a Bachelors of Engineering.

Robert retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas and later retired from UT Southwestern Medical Center where he was the Maintenance Engineer over the physical plant. 

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Dianna of 32 years, a son Robert II (Kim) of Blue Springs, Missouri, two step sons Mark Watson of Waxahachie, Wayne Watson (Jenny) of Waxahachie, one brother Roger Thibault (Celeste) of Las Vegas, NV., two sisters Diane Ritchie, Mesa, AZ., and Claudia Grenier, Superior, Wisconsin, nine grandchildren and many friends who loved him.
