Waxahachie, Texas

Randy Yeager, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, coworker, and friend, passed away at the age of 60 on Friday, May 3, 2024. He left behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones.
Randy will be remembered most for his gentle soul and generous spirit. He had a knack for making everyone feel welcomed and valued, with his infectious laughter and genuine interest in others.
Family was paramount to Randy, and he treasured every opportunity to gather with his beloved wife, Janet Yeager, their children Aaron Coventry, Ashley Yeager, April Yeager, Amber Hopson, Kayla Yeager. Randy was a proud grandfather to 12 grandchildren, and had countless friends and family members who brought endless joy and laughter into his life. His love and devotion was limitless, and his absence leaves a void that can never be filled.

Whether it was sharing stories around the campfire, hanging out with his good buddies, or relaxing on the back porch, Randy's love knew no bounds. He found immense joy in attending chili cook-offs, where he would proudly showcase his “award-winning” recipes. Additionally, Randy enjoyed weekends at the lake, cruising on the pontoon, and soaking in the beauty of nature with friends and family.

Randy's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, as his legacy of love and kindness continues to inspire us. Though he may be gone, his spirit will forever remain a guiding light in our lives.

There will be a viewing held on Friday, May 10th from 5pm-7pm and the celebration of Randy's life will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 2pm; both at Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to KJT Society #35 Youth Association in Ennis, in honor of Randy's compassionate spirit and commitment to helping others.
Randy's passing leaves behind a world dimmed by his absence, but his memory will shine brightly in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace.
