Pennye Renee Wilkerson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pennye Renee Wilkerson on March 27, 2025 at the age of 68.  A devoted wife, loving mother, cherished sister, adoring grandmother, and compassionate soul, Pennye touched the lives of all who knew her.

Born on November 14, 1956, Pennye was the beloved daughter of John Dee Wooten and Janice Sue Hester Wooten.  She shared a beautiful and enduring bond with her husband, Terry Wilkerson, and was the proud and loving mother of her four sons: Timothy, Tony, Tommy, and Josh.  She also leaves behind her siblings: sister Pamela and brother John Jr., with whom she shared countless memories and deep familial bonds.  Pennye's greatest joy in life came from her cherished grandchildren: Trevor, Levi, Asher, Micah, Caleb, and Hannah, who were the light of her life and brought her immense pride and happiness.
