July 17, 1957 — February 25, 2024

Red Oak, TX

Paul James Frizzelle was born on July 17, 1957 to Clyde and Deloreas Frizzelle. He grew up in Haltom City, Texas with his three older brothers, Clyde, David, and Raymond, and one younger sister, Elizabeth. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Sherry, and his three children, Monica Mote, Taylor Frizzelle, and Connor Frizzelle. Paul and Sherry have six grandchildren: Nolan Mote, Emmery Mote, Vivian Frizzelle, Grayson Frizzelle, Sadie Frizzelle, and Nash Frizzelle.

Paul loved God and loved others so well. His life epitomized John 13:35. “Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” Paul was never happier than when he was pouring into the lives of others. His love for others was expressed in many ways from working hard, long days to provide for his family, to coaching little league baseball and recreational basketball for his boys. From talks in the truck, imparting his wisdom to his children and so many other young people, to wearing out basketball referees as he passionately cheered on his kids. He served on so many mission trips to Mexico, and other places around the globe, tirelessly ministering to hundreds of people and making eternal bonds with those he served alongside with. Paul served his local church, playing drums and brass in the orchestra, teaching Sunday School classes, and mentoring many young people along the way. He was a very skilled general contractor and established F&F Construction in May of 1980. Throughout the years, he employed many friends, youth, and family members in their various times of need. Paul was one of the most instinctively smart people you could know. There was nothing he didn’t know how to do, and he was always willing to extend his time, talents, and resources to others. People most remember how they felt when they were around Paul. He had the gift of encouragement, and you could not be around him without laughing or leave him without feeling uplifted. He sacrificed himself for the good of those he loved, and in that way, his life honored Christ.
