Patricia Ann Henley, 69, of Waxahachie, passed away after a lengthy illness at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas , Texas on Monday, May 26, 2014 and is now in the glorious presence of her dear Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born June 2, 1944 in Ennis , Texas and was a 1962 graduate of Waxahachie High School . She served as the pastor's secretary at First Baptist Church , Waxahachie, for fifteen years. Pat was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and friend. She loved to cook for her family and for others, was a beautiful and gracious hostess, and a generous servant of Christ. She will be dearly missed by everyone who loved and knew her. She is preceded in death by her father, Brenard Jean; her mother Lottie Callendar and step-father Vick Callendar; father-in-law Frank Henley and mother-in-law LaVerne Henley. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Donald Henley, of Waxahachie; daughter Susan Henley of Waxahachie; son and daughter-in-law Mark and Christine Henley of Denton, Texas; sisters Shirley Parker of Shoreline, Washington and Brenda Jean of Glen Allen, Virginia; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ronald and Carol Henley of Kingwood, Texas; sister-in-law Diane Henley of Waxahachie; niece Shelley Vineyard and her daughter Ashlyne of Kingwood, Texas; nephew Jason Henley and his wife Terri, and their children Gabrielle and Tyler of Humble, Texas; Chrystal Doyle and her husband Jim and their son Brendan of Glen Allen, Virginia; Wendy Sheets and her husband Doug and their children Lilly and Kyle of Mansfield, Texas; uncle Gene Wilkerson and his wife Mary Ann of Rowlett, Texas; aunt Marie Dyess and her husband Bill of Ennis, Texas; aunt Joyce Wilkerson, of Ennis, Texas; and many beloved cousins and friends. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, May 30, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Waxahachie. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, May 29, 2014 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church, Waxahachie new building/property fund.
