Pamela Dianne Passant passed away on October 17, 2026. She was born on January 2, 1950, in Castroville, Texas, to Hazel Dell Parish and Alvin Carter Heath.

Pamela earned her bachelor’s degree and dedicated her career to education as a school librarian, where she also enjoyed the detailed work of book repair.

Pamela found joy in her family, the color green, and penguins, each holding a special place in her heart. Although she lived in Colorado and adored penguins, the cold was never her favorite. She preferred the comfort of a cozy, warm home surrounded by her beloved books.

She is survived by her beloved husband of over 50 years, Fredrick Lee “Fred” Passant; her two children, Matthew and Jennifer; her three grandchildren, Mandy, Emily, and Johnathan; her three great-grandchildren; her great-great-grandchild; and her sister, Sharon Henderson.

Pamela’s love for her family, her passion for books, and the simple comforts that brought her happiness will remain a lasting part of her legacy.
