On Thursday May 16, 2024, Michele Marie Crittenden age 61 of Bristol Texas, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. Michele was born on March 9, 1963, in Dallas Texas. She was raised in Duncanville Texas and graduated from Seagoville High School in 1981.
Michele had numerous vocations ranging from ambulance driver to vacuum cleaner salesperson before landing a successful career in investment banking for the last 25 years. Like her jobs, she had many passions in life. The main ones were Jesus, Spending time with Family & Friends, Rodeo, Being Outdoors, Texas Rangers, and Volunteering at Campfire Creek Therapeutic Riding Center. She had a huge heart and poured it out onto everyone she knew. To know her is to love her and even more so, to be loved by her. It is hard to find the right words to fully encompass the accomplishments of this woman throughout her life. Through the ups and downs, her positive attitude and outlook got her through. She always found a way to make it work. Her space will never be filled.
Michele is survived by her loving husband, Bobby Crittenden. Daughter Amanda Ward, and husband Cameron Ward; son Steven Crittenden and wife Keeley Crittenden; daughter Kirby Pierce and husband Adam Pierce; Grandchildren Trip, Baxter, Harvey, and Miller Ward; Briggs and Louella Crittenden; Emmy Jay and Benny Pierce; Jackson Wade. Dad Larry Wade and wife Rosanne; brother Mark White and wife Amy; brother Jason White, and wife Lindsay; sister Mary Elizabeth Wade, brother Tim Wade and wife Denise and brother Pete Sloan.
Michele is preceded in death by her mother, Mickie Wade, and father Lloyd Nelson White as well as her cousin Tracey Austin- Ivy who passed away at Easter.
Viewing will be Tuesday May 21, from 5-7pm at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, 1826 West Hwy 287 Business, Waxahachie Tx 75165. The funeral will be Wednesday, May 22 at 10am at the Ellis County Cowboy Church. The graveside will be after the Service at Bells Chapel Cemetery, 2101 Bells Chapel Rd., Waxahachie, TX 75165. The family will receive people after the graveside at the family home, 298 Glaspy Rd, Ennis.
