Michael Paul Baker II, 50, passed on to his eternal rest December 19, 2022 after a year and a half battle fighting Leukemia.
“Paul,” as he was so lovingly called, was born September 9, 1972 in Dallas Tx. Paul loved sports, rodeo, and he was an avid race car fan. Paul worked in various trades until he discovered the big 18 wheelers. He fell in love with traveling over the road. He has been in 48 of the 50 states. But later, he would drive locally to be closer to family. He was a truck driver for 14 years of his young life. He would later achieve his GED and go on to earn his Associates & Bachelor Degree in Theology from Shalom Bible College. Paul has always loved his Almighty Father. From the time he was a young boy, Paul would preach to the elderly at the nursing home where his mother worked. Paul felt called by the Lord to preach, to live out Jesus’ mission here on Earth by sharing the Good News. Paul shared the Word with friends, family, and people he would meet or talk to on the CB radio while driving! Next to his Lord, Paul loved his family. Family meant the world to him! He devoted himself to be a better son, brother, father, and husband.
Paul is preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts, & uncles. Paul is survived by his only son, Hunter Michael Baker of Oklahoma, his parents Jerry and Rita (Willis) Fowler of Palmer, Tx., sisters: Kimberly Fowler Dowell of Palmer, Tx., Karisa Fowler Toler and her husband, Billy Toler of Balch Springs and Alice “Marie” Fowler of Euless, Tx. Paul is also survived by his wife, Christine Baker of Ennis, Tx. and his natural father Michael Paul Baker. Paul has numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
