Marion Edwards

Marion Irene (Brown) Edwards was born April 7, 1952 in Douglas Michigan. Her Earthly body retired and spiritual body moved on to Heaven during the afternoon of December 20, 2018. She is the beloved daughter of Hilton and Bertha Brown, now deceased, and younger sister of Ronald Brown. Nicknamed “MIBS”, she was raised in Santa Fe Texas and trained as an occupational therapist during her time in college. Marion was married to Charles Edwards on August 14, 1976. Life was busy as step-mother to Brian and Corey Edwards and mother to Benjamin Edwards. She cherished being a grandmother to Kaleigh, David, Jordan, Jacob, Abigail, Camryn, Caleb, and Carter. A Christ follower from a young age, she was involved in several local churches over the years. Marion enjoyed crafting and making artistic pieces that included sewing, greeting card design, and quilting. Hours spent working would result in beautiful and one-of-a-kind effects that she was proud to display. Many of these are still in use and some are even shown here today. She will always be remembered and loved for who she was and how she loved others. We celebrate with the good news that she is now pain free and the promise that we WILL share her company again.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Wednesday, December 26, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Zimmerman officiating.  Interment at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery will be held on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 9:30 AM .

Visitation with the family is scheduled from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
