Margaret Gonzales

Margaret Gonzales, 74 passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in LaFeria, Texas but had lived the majority of her life in Waxahachie. She had a beautiful ministry at both Renfro Nursing Home and Sterling House as a hairdresser until her retirement. Margaret was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Waxahachie. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Alfonso; four daughters, Lily Abbott, Linda Rodriguez, Julie Gonzales and Kristy Tomlinson, all of Waxahachie. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Anita Garcia of Harlingen, Amelia Hopgood of Waxahachie; her brother, Raymond Rodriguez also of Waxahachie; her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both her mother and father; 3 brothers and 1 sister. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Lakeview Cemetery. A rosary prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2015 with a visitation for family and friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. www.waynebozefuneralhome.com
