Mae Devore

Mae Jo DeVore, 88 of Waxahachie, Texas passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 in Italy, Texas.  She was born on November 29, 1930 near Rotan, Texas to the late Joseph & Issie Mae Garrett Courtney.  Mae was a longtime member of the Central Presbyterian Church in Waxahachie.  She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed by all that knew her and loved her.

Mae is survived by her son and daughter in law:  David and Cathy DeVore of Bryan, Texas; Three grandchildren:  Joshua DeVore, Cary & David Warner and Brandie and Philip Johnson;  Six great grandchildren:  Brittney & Joshua Arthur, Brandon & Rachel Warner, Jordan Johnson, Ashley Warner, Rylee Johnson and Ryan Johnson. One Great Great Grandson:  Lucas Warner. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband:  Donald DeVore in 2010 and her son:  Steven DeVore in 2009.

Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Curry officiating.  Interment will follow at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at 2:15 PM .

Visitation with the family is scheduled for Monday, March 18, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
