It is with broken hearts, but with a lifetime of beautiful memories, that we announce the passing of our beloved Luciano Garza, who left this world on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at 9:03 a.m., at the age of 91.

Born on May 2, 1935, in Garceno, Texas, At the heart of Luciano's story was his beloved wife of 73 years, Rebecca Garza. Seventy-three years of marriage is more than a milestone; it is a lifetime of choosing one another, standing side by side through life's joys and sorrows, and building a love that time could never diminish. Together, they created a beautiful family and a lifetime of memories that will forever be treasured. Their love story is one that few are blessed to experience and one that their family will carry in their hearts forever.

Luciano's greatest legacy is the family he leaves behind. He is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca Garza; his daughter, Lucinda Garza; and his daughter-in-law, Rita Garza.

He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Tim Riojas and wife Lily; Christina Richards and husband Allen; Cindy Cashion and husband James; Dana Jones and husband Jason; Cathy Buckner and husband Albert; Lee Garza; and Mary Ann Garza and husband Mike McKey.

His love and legacy live on through 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, each a beautiful part of the family he and Rebecca began so many years ago.

Luciano was preceded in death by his beloved son, Leonardo Garza. While the loss of a child is a sorrow no parent should have to endure, we find comfort in imagining a beautiful reunion, where father and son are together once again.
