Those who will be riding in the limousine, please meet us at the funeral home at 12:30pm so we can leave by 1:00pm. All others, please feel free to meet us at the cemetery Monday, June 15th at 2:15pm, we will not be driving in procession to the cemetery. When entering the cemetery from Mountain Creek Parkway, turn right onto Tejas Blvd, then keep right and follow the sign "LANES". We will be in Lane 2.
Leland Max Schuster's Obituary
Leland Max Schuster, 76, of Waxahachie, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston, TX.
Max was born on August 10, 1949, in Keokuk, IA, to Leland and Edna Schuster. He graduated from Kahoka High School in 1967 and Northeast Missouri State University in 1977. On December 5, 1970, he married Judith Huffman.
Max dedicated over 50 years to his career as a CPA, with the last 40 years as a sole proprietor in Waxahachie.
Max is survived by his wife, Judith; daughter Carisa; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Briana Sprick Schuster; grandchildren, Louisa and Julius Schuster; and brother David (Karen). He is preceded in death by his parents; and his brother Steve.
