Lara Hopgood

Lara Bell Hopgood was born on June 4, 1930 in Corsicana, Texas to parents Oscar and Gertie Scott. Lara married the love of her life Jim Hopgood on April 30, 1948. They resided in Dallas Texas and in May 1989 moved to Payne Springs. She loved being surrounded by family, playing games, and going to see Elvis impersonators. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who was loved by everyone she met.

Lara is predeceased by Peggy Knapp, Allen Wayne, and Brandy Reid.

She is survived by daughter Connie Patrick, son Henry Hopgood, grandchildren Lara Speck and husband Kevin, Ronny Hammonds, Kim Simpson. She also has 11 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
