Kaneita Larue Coulston

Kaneita Larue Sparks was born April 23, 1947, in Dallas, Texas to Dorothy and Clyde Sparks. They moved to Waxahachie, Texas where she worked in her grandmother’s café, where she met the love of her life Charles Richard Coulston. Richard and Kaneita married January 5, 1962, and moved to Lancaster, Texas where they would raise their two daughters Natalie Bruce and Tara Thompson. Kaneita was a life- long resident of Lancaster until her death on September 9, 2025. Richard and Kaneita were best friends and had been married 63 years.

Kaneita is preceded in death by both parents Dorothy Fordyce and Clyde Sparks, her grandson Austin Elbert, her granddaughter Cheyenne Perry, her Aunt and Uncle Jeanette and Sidney Rowland along with her younger brother Bradley Wood, as well as several other family members that she loved dearly.

Kaneita is survived by her husband Charles Richard Coulston of Lancaster, her daughter Natalie Bruce (Carl) of Dawson, her daughter Tara Thompson (Erick) of Grandview, Her siblings Larry Sparks of Red Oak, Debra Watson (Mark) of Grandview, Cheryl Wise (David) of Estill Springs, TN, Helen Green (Michael) of Temple, Les Perry (Sherry) of Clifton. Grandchildren, Krista Elbert of Justin, Ariel McPherson of Waco, Courtney Wilson (Matt) of Glasgow, Scotland, Aaron Elbert of Waxahachie, Zachary Perry (Kylee) of Gainesville, Kayla Thompson of Waxahachie, Sophie Bruce of Corsicana, Tripp Thompson of Maypearl, Dylan Bruce of Dallas, Jourdon Cleverdon (John) of Oklahoma, Brittany Putman (Josh) of Blooming Grove. She also leaves behind 9 Great grandchildren and 12 nieces and nephews.

Kaneita was full of life and always had a smile on her face. She was a hard worker, an amazing mother and wife and loved her family with all her heart. She has helped everyone in her family at one time or another and would do anything for anyone. We know that she is no longer in pain or suffering and that she is standing with our Lord surrounded by our loved ones.
