Joshua Tucker

Josh Tucker, 21 of Waxahachie, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011 in a Dallas hospital. Josh was born on March 25, 1990 in Weatherford, Texas. He is survived by his mother and step father, Teri and Scott Butler of Waxahachie; his father, Charles Tucker of Colorado; his grandfather, Carroll Butler of Waxahachie; 3 brothers, Jordan Tucker of Grand Prairie, Jeffrey Tucker of Arlington, Travis Butler of Waxahachie; 3 sisters, Nicky Hodge and her husband, Matt of Casper, Wyoming, Tracy Nitsch of Hunter Kansas, Michelle Collins and her husband, Tim of Thousand Oaks, California; 7 nieces and 6 nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. Josh is preceded in death by his grandmother, Diann Butler; and by his 2 grandfathers, Reese Richards and B. F. Tucker. What moves through us is a quiet sadness; a longing for one more day; one more word; one more touch, hug and kiss. We may not understand why you left this earth so soon or why you left before we said good-bye, but little by little, we will remember not just that you died, but that you lived; that your life gave us wonderful memories too beautiful to forget. Services to celebrate Josh's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2011 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery.
