John Carroll

JOHN HARDY CARROLL   March 21, 1926- January 17, 2022

John Hardy Carroll, age 95, resident of Waxahachie passed away early Monday morning,

January 17, 2022 in Waxahachie. John was born in Forreston, Texas to Dovie Carroll and

Etta (Hardy) Carroll. John married Alice (Handley) Carroll June 2, 1945 in Waxahachie. John

was an active member of South Prong Baptist Church. He had a love for farming, working

on tractors, lawnmowers and small engine repair. He was the type of person you could honestly

say the two things that made him the happiest was working and being with his family.

John is survived by his daughter Wanda Parks and her husband James of Waxahachie, two

grandchildren, Kyle Parks and his wife Catherine and their children Hannah and Andrew, all

of Austin; Allison Friloux and her husband Henri and their children, Margo, Eloise, and Gwyneth,

all of Allen. He is also survived by one sister, Arlene Winningham of Nash as well as several nieces

and a nephew.

John was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Stacey Carroll and Wayne Carroll, and

two sisters, Doris Boyd and Mary Bridges
