Jennifer Sue "Jenny" Humphrey, 73, of Seagoville, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Texas.

Jenny was born on October 24, 1952, at Saint Paul Hospital in Dallas, Texas, to Charles Ray Pitman and Dorothy Jane Ayers-Pitman. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose love for her family knew no bounds.

Jenny was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Ray Pitman and Dorothy Jane Ayers-Pitman; her brothers, Charles Lee Pitman, David Lynn Pitman, and William Paul Pitman; and her beloved nephew, Jeremy Christian Silva.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Catherine Burt(Alan); her children, Daniel Bookman (Heather) of Lavon, Texas, Matthew Bookman of Mabank, Texas, and Bradley Bookman (Mary Jo) of Ferris, Texas; as well as her cherished grandchildren.

Through her son Daniel Bookman: Ashton Butler (Jonathan Butler), Daniel Bookman Jr., Aaron Shields (Jordain Shields), Mikaela Bergthold (Jared Bergthold), Taylee Bookman, and Raelyn Bookman.

Through her son Matthew Bookman: Chelsea Bookman (Trond), Christopher Bookman (Abra), Cameron Bookman (Jasmine), Keeleigh Bookman (Shawn), Kaden Bookman (Sara), and Zander Bookman.

Through her son Bradley Bookman (Mary Jo): Charolette Brooks (Dylan Brooks), Michael Bookman (Nicole Drosche), and Andrea Bookman (Josh Valdez).

Jenny was also blessed with 18 great-grandchildren: Dalton, Lilly, Jayden, Taylor, Carter, Marley, Liam, Logan, Sunny, Abigail, Layla, Walker, Kennedy, Aubrie, Iolana, Kaiser, Lane, and Willow.

She also leaves behind countless nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

Jenny dedicated her career to quality and precision. In the 1980s, she worked as a Quality Control Inspector for Docutel, where she inspected some of the very first automated teller machines (ATMs). She later continued her career with Raytheon, inspecting Patriot Missile Guidance Defense Systems, and eventually worked for Solar Turbines, inspecting turbine engine parts and motors. She took great pride in her work and was known by those who loved her as a true workaholic who always gave her very best.

Outside of work, Jenny had a compassionate heart and a deep love for animals, especially cats. She never hesitated to care for an animal in need and found joy in the companionship they brought to her life. More than anything, she treasured her family and the time spent with them, creating memories that will be cherished for generations.

Jenny was a faithful Christian whose strength, kindness, and unwavering love touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Her legacy lives on through her family and all those blessed to have shared in her life.

Jenny will be cremated, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The time and location will be announced by the family.
