Jeanne Ann Anderson was born on March 21, 1942 in Ravenna Ohio to Phillis and Russel Cole and passed away from cancer on March 12, 2024. Jeanne had a strong faith in God therefore faced death with bravery and grace. Upon hearing of her diagnosis, Jeanne said, “Do not worry, I am going to heaven, I have lived a full life…this is simply the circle of life.” She was 9 days away from her 82nd birthday.

Jeanne graduated from Garfield High School in 1960, where she excelled in band. In 1962 Jeanne longed to serve her country. She competed and won a position in the United States Women’s Army Corps Band. She was exceptionally proud of this feat as a defining life moment. Her favorite story was that she played the baritone horn in front of President Kennedy. Jeanne wore a number of hats being a mother, working as an LVN, a piano teacher and later earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music at California State University Dominguez Hills at 66 years old.

One Sunday she shared her bible with a handsome man who happened to drive a red convertible MG. This led to marriage three months later to Ronald Eugene Anderson on October 30, 1965 in Las Vegas. Two years later, their first child Ronald Edwin was born, soon following Debra Lynn and Tanya Lorraine. They were married 41 years until Ron Anderson passed away in 2006.
