Janie Marie Colella

Janie Colella, 76, of Waxahachie, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on August 1, 2023.

Janie was born in Topeka, Kansas on December 3, 1946, to William and Peggy (Crim) Allensworth.

Janie is survived by her children, Curtis Prophet, Christie Foust, Chad Thedford (wife Kim), stepson Jeff Clark (wife Brandi), grandchildren Shawn Foust (wife Amanda), Makayla Foust (husband Josh), Casey Clifton (husband Alex), Tanya Haynes (husband Curtis), Robert Ramsey (wife Korri), Alexis Turpen (husband Matt); step grandchildren Ty and Brindlee Clark; great grandchildren, Jordan Foust, Liam Vadbunker, Kashten Foust, Silas Foust, Xander Linnen Foust, Rhylie Ramsey, Kiara Turpen, Lucas, Aubrey and, Miles Clifton, Samuel, Benjamin and, Odin Haynes.

Janie is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Tippy Colella, Mother Peggy Johnson, Father William Allensworth, son Craig Thedford and sister Diane Conway.

Janie worked at Tyler Refrigeration for more than 20 years and retired from Univar in 2021. She babysat most of Waxahachie in her early years.

Janie loved making cakes and flower arrangements for her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Janie loved the Lord with her whole heart. She was very giving and that is seen by all the people she has touched.
