Janet Sanchez

Janet Elaine Sanchez, 76, passed away on July 7, 2022 in Waxahachie, Texas. She was born on October 29, 1945 in Terre Haute, Indiana.

She graduated from West Vigo High School in West Terre Haute, Indiana, class of 1963. She married Samuel Paul Sanchez on May 31,1975 in Waxahachie, Texas. They had just celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary. Janet was a Baptist Sunday School teacher for the past 30 years. She was also a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Waxahachie, TX. Janet loved her family and her beloved dog, Katie. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, traveling, planting flowers, planning her Sunday school lessons, and of course, shopping.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents Hubert Paul Ross and Ruby Leona Ross, her siblings Jerry Ross, Judith Patterson, Ronald Ross, and Diana Cuellar. She is survived by her husband Samuel Paul Sanchez, her sons Christopher Paul Sanchez, Kevin Layton Sanchez and his wife Crystal, her grandchildren Laura Sanchez, Layton Sanchez, all from Waxahachie, TX and countless nieces and nephews.
