Jacques “Jay” B. Provost, 60 years old, while living in Milford, TX passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021. He was born in Fort McClellan, AL on July 25, 1961. Jay graduated from Lawton High School and received his BA from Cameron University. He went on to attend Southwestern Theological Seminary to expand his Hebrew and Latin. On October 22, 2002, Jay married his wife, Jean, in Fort Worth, TX. Jay worked in the IT sector as a Database Administrator for Call Box.

Jay was a member of Cowboy Church of Ellis County where he enjoyed the Wednesday morning group of men who met to fellowship and pray. He also enjoyed beekeeping, wood working, and canning seasonal fruits and vegetables. Jay always made time to care for the dogs, chickens and ducks at home.

Jay is preceded in death by Sally Provost, Mom and Se Sun Provost, Step-mom; Grandparents J.B. and Lois Cockerham, Robert and Jeanne Provost, Franklin and Barbara Atkinson, In-laws and Jason Chappell, Son-in-law.

Jay is survived by Jean Davis, Wife, Ken Provost, Father, his children, Susan Provost and Linda Provost (Zuriel), Jonathan Davis, and Stephanie Davis (John) His grandchildren, Joshua, Katelyn, and Heston Davis, and his sisters Michelle Miller and Jeanne (Danny) Cauthron.
