Waxahachie

Jacqueline Marie Johnson nee Hefner, 54, left us unexpectedly to be with the Lord on March 9, 2019, at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

Jacki was born in San Antonio, Texas, spending her formative years traveling the world due to her father being in the Air Force.  Jacki met Steven in Decatur, Illinois, moving to Waxahachie, Texas to raise a beautiful family who cared deeply for her.  Her dream was to take care of others, leading her to become a Registered Nurse at Baylor Medical Center Waxahachie for over 25 years, where she shared her kindness and love with all those that she crossed paths with.  Jacki’s passion was caring for her numerous patients as well as all those in her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband Steven, 3 sons and spouses, Anthony and Jennifer, Andrew and Becca, and Zachary and Myra, 5 grandchildren Colby, Zoey, Caysen, Zayn, and Zady.  Siblings included brother Larry, sisters Juanita Muckelroy and Julie Hernandez, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Jacki was preceded in death by her parents Louie and Joyce (Robinson) Hefner, brother Louie, father and mother in laws Fred and Mary Lou Johnson.

Friends and family are encouraged to gather for a time of visitation Friday, March 15, 2019 from 5 to 8:30 in the evening at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
