Gladys Irene Anderson, 72, of Red Oak, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2026.

Gladys was born on January 13, 1954, and lived a life marked by love, strength, and unwavering faith. She was a woman who poured into others, always showing up with a caring heart and a spirit that brought comfort and encouragement to those around her.

She loved church, music, and most of all, her family. Gladys had a joyful spirit and was always a fun laugh to be around, bringing light into any room she entered. Yet, when it was time to be serious, she carried a strength and presence that commanded respect. She was a woman of balance—full of love, wisdom, and conviction.

She will be remembered for her kindness, her resilience, and the way she made people feel seen, valued, and loved. Her legacy will continue to live on through her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her son, Narcorik Anderson; her grandchildren, Ambra Anderson, Aquidra Anderson, Keondra Anderson, Darick Anderson, Breeonuh Anderson, Narcorik W. Anderson, America Mejia, and Chozen Anderson; her mother, Wanda Jean Young; her brothers, George Young, James Anderson, and David Young; her sister, Alice Jones; and many other beloved family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by loved ones who welcomed her into eternal rest.
