Gary Wayne Cessna of Itlay Texas a longtime resident of Lancaster Texas Passed away on 8/10/2026 at the age of 75

Gary was born to the late Ruby (Perdue) Cessna and Daniel Cessna. Gary did plaster for most of his live until his wife came out of retirement and they both decided to helping there daughter out and started at Fire House Kids 17yrs ago were he was loved by so many littles.

He is survived by his Wife Donna Cessna of 46 years, Son Gary Wayne Cessna JR and his wife Lisa Cessna, Son Rusty Cessna his wife Brandi Cessna, Daughter Shannon Williams and her husband Sammy Williams, Brother Carl Mcgee, Sister Judy Rexroat and many nieces and nephews.

He was most proud of the role he had as a Oger (grandfather), Grandkids 7, Great Grandkids 6 and 1 due in Nov., and this coming Feb a Great Great Great Oger to Waylon Wade.

He was welcomed in heaven by many family members his Parents, Rudy & Daniel, his brother Ronnie Cessna, his sister in law Sylvia Mcgee (Carl Mcgee wife), Tommy Rexroat (Judy Rexroat husband), Jerry and Virginia Bristow (Cessna’s brother and sister in law) Minnie & Thomas Clayton (Cessna’s in laws), Dennis Clayton (Cessna brother in law) Ronnie & Brenda Clayton(Cessna brother & sister in law), Carla Pass & Celia Cessna(Cessna nieces) and many other family members (WHAT A CELEBRATION HE IS HAVING)

Gary was loved by so many and it showed with his 75th Birthday celebration on 8/4/2026

He was best known as Oger and cracking jokes. His laughter was loud and his voice and words louder. If you had a weakness he found it and turned it into laughter that you would remember forever.
