Enid Wright Robinson

Enid Wright Robinson, age 98 of Waxahachie, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024.

Enid was born on July 27, 1925, in Ellis County Texas to Tom and Sue Wright. She graduated from Forreston High School in 1942 and moved to Dallas where she began working. Enid soon met and married Stg Robert (Bob) C. Robinson on September 13,1947. They were married for 44 years until his passing in July of 1991. They enjoyed traveling together with family members, as well as with longtime friends. 

Enid was an avid bridge player and was quite the champion. She loved cats and she had several favorites over the years. She was a long-time member and auxiliary volunteer with the Texas Association of Hospital Auxiliaries, Inc at Baylor Medical Center Waxahachie. After many years of working, Enid retired as a Medical Transcriptionist with Baylor Radiology. Enid was also a lifelong supporter of the Republican Party.

Enid is survived by her niece, Leslea Midkiff, and husband, Bill of Waxahachie, niece, Shelley Darnell of New Braunfels and nephew, Greg Darnell and wife, Michelle of Cayon Lake, niece Amy Bundick and husband, Keith of San Antonio, James Wade Wright, Jr., Billy Michael Wright, Tommy Wright of Waxahachie and Kim Wright McCarty of Dallas, Regina Reese and husband, Mark of Forreston, Deana Morgan and husband, Danny of Hillsboro, and a sister-in-law, Beth Wright of Forreston, many grand nieces and nephews. 

Enid was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her four siblings and a niece and nephew. 

Enid will be mourned by many family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be sent in memory of Enid to your local ASPCA.
