In Loving Memory

Emmanuel “Manuel” Zavala, age 4, passed away on June 20, 2026. Born in Laredo, Texas, Emmanuel brought endless joy, laughter, and love into the lives of those blessed to know him.

Though his time here was far too short, Emmanuel’s life was filled with wonder, curiosity, and a beautiful love for learning. He attended Pre-K at Crockett ECC in Ennis, Texas, where his bright mind and kind spirit shined. Emmanuel was very intelligent and amazed those around him with his ability to read from a very young age.

Emmanuel loved reading, fire trucks, first responders, planets, shapes, swimming, dancing, musical instruments, and riding the train. He especially loved learning about the solar system. He enjoyed trips to the zoo and aquarium, and some of the most treasured memories were the quiet nights spent outside on the patio, gazing up at the stars and moon.

His family will forever miss his laughter, his joy, and the light he brought into every moment.

Emmanuel is survived by his loving mother, Alma Leticia Zavala; his grandmother, Alma Zavala; his cousins, Nilda Yadira and Lexi Nicole; his aunt, Martha Elva; and many other family members and friends who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ernesto Javier Robles.

Emmanuel’s memory will live forever in the hearts of his family and all who loved him.
