Dustie Nadine Jones, 52, of Mertens, Texas passed away on July 5, 2023. She was born in Dallas, Texas on June 11, 1971.

She attended Waxahachie High School. She was married on September 22, 2001 to Wesley Jones in Milford, Texas. Dustie worked for Ellis County Insurance Agency for 23 years. Dustie was the life of the party. She knew how to laugh and have a good time. She had a passion for being outdoors and hanging out with family and friends. She loved going to the beach every year for vacation and always said she would move there. She loved being a Lollie and spending time with her grandchildren – they were her FAVORITES. She also enjoyed riding around in her “Tahoe” (buggy) making memories with her friends. For years, Dustie dedicated most of her time to show pigs whether it was at the pig barn or at shows.

                She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lorraine and Ernie Fondren. She was survived by her husband Wesley Jones and her mother, Patricia Messerschmidt. Her daughters, Morgan Cockerham, Reagan Cockerham, and Alex Jones. Her grandchildren, Ezra Jenkins and Brooke Cockerham. Her sister, Lona Carver and brother, Jay Messerschmidt.
