Doris Roe

Doris Marie Roe, 88 of Waxahachie, Texas passed away Friday, February 22, 2013 in Corinth, Texas. She was born in Garrett, Texas on August 20, 1924 to Jim Harry & Nanny Irene Adams Proffitt. She was a longtime member of the Sardis United Methodist Church. She is survived by 3 children: Michael Forrest & Melissa Roe of Lancaster, Texas ; Janice Marie & Butch Smith of Cornith, Texas and Patrick Steven Roe of Midlothian, Texas 3 Sisters: Lillian Neal, Virgina Cleveland and Katy Stanton; 8 grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren; Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday, February 24, 2013 at the Sardis United Methodist Church in Sardis with Rev. Dale Wilbanks & Rev. Bruce Chamberlain officiating. Interment will follow at the Sardis Cemetery.
