Doris Kay Bryant

Doris Kay Bryant, 80, of Waxahachie, TX, went home to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior, on June 23, 2024. She was born in Kiowa, OK on July 29, 1943 to Bill and Stella (Hammer) Heath.

Kay married Leonard Wayne Bryant on August 15, 1961 in Grand Prairie, TX. She loved spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, gardening and music. She was a prayer warrior who delighted in serving the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Wayne Bryant and her parents, Bill and Stella Heath. She is survived by son David (& Janie) Bryant; daughter Toni (& Shane) Griffin; granddaughters Heather Higdon and Brandi (& Adrian) Sanchez; great-grandsons Ethan and Elias Sanchez; and brothers Larry (& Debbie) Heath and Ricky (& Erin) Heath; and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39

A celebration of life memorial will be held at a later date.
