Donald Bumpus

Donald Ray Bumpus was born January 4, 1944, in Italy Texas. He went home to be with the Lord April 6, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Edith (Word) Bumpus his wife Peggy Jo Bumpus, and brother Jack Bumpus. He is survived by his daughter Valrie Bumpus, grandchildren, Will and Lacey Bergeron, brothers Tony and George Bumpus and numerous nieces and nephews. He worked for Lone Star Gas, and the Waxahachie Sports Complex. He never met a stranger and loved his family dearly. He also loved animals and was known to give homes to many strays over the years. He was truly a blessing to all and will be greatly missed.
